College child care center offers space for kids
Posted: 12/16/2011
If finding quality child care is keeping you from attending college there's good news: the college's Child Development Center is opening its doors for your child or children for winter quarter. The center accepts children from one month to five years of age.
The child care program is a co-op, open to students and non-students, and parents are able to share in child care by volunteering some of their time with the program. The center is open all days that the college is in session, operating from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. It is closed on weekends and holidays.
Winter quarter at the college and the child care program begins Jan. 3, 2012.
There is a special rate for parents who are enrolled students, but you do not need to be enrolled at the college to take advantage of the child care program.
For information on the program or to reserve a slot for your child, please call the Child Development Center at 360.736.9391, ext. 462. Slots will not be reserved until the front office has received a copy of the paid Child Care Deposit receipt.
