Summer quarter begins June 21. Work your way out of the recession and into a good paying job by training for the kind of employment you want.
Many people are already turning to Centralia College to find the quality education or training they need to move up in life. That means a lot of classes are full or filling quickly. Visit the college right away and start the process to get into the classes you want and need.
"We’ve tried to anticipate the growing number of students who need career training,” said Dr. Jim Walton, college president. “Economists say employment numbers aren’t expected to rise until late spring or early summer next year, and summer is an ideal time for unemployed or underemployed people get a head start for better results when the jobs do come back.”
Among classroom subjects available summer quarter are accounting, health care, business and business office technology, criminal justice, nursing assistant, welding, and others. Many academic courses are open for summer enrollees. There is also a wide range of online classes available.
